Coolmation has launched the TCAE Y Pack range of space saving chillers, designed specifically for retrofitting in replacement projects where space is at a premium. Available from 150kW to 350kW these energy efficient chillers, also available as reverse cycle heat pumps, boast an exceptionally small footprint almost half the size of their predecessors.
Following significant research and development investment by Rhoss, the TCAE Y Space Saver offers staggering dimension reductions with the largest chiller in the range measuring just 6m2 compared to the 10m2 of its predecessor. Boasting Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER) ratings up to 2.87 and Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (ESEER) up to 4.25, the Eurovent Certified TCAE Y Pack range also provides outstanding efficiency.
With air conditioning loads in older buildings steadily rising due to increased staffing levels, heat generating equipment and servers, many chillers are struggling to cope. Add to this the requirement to comply with the F-gas Regulations and the phase out of R22 and the need for chiller replacement is accelerating. However, chiller dimensions and plant room space can prove to be an obstacle when retrofitting the units.
