PIR thermostat control for cooling loads
Published:  27 June, 2008

Danlers Limited design and manufacture energy saving passive infra-red thermostat controls, designed to control loads such as stand-alone air cooling units.

The products combine an adjustable room thermostat with a passive infra-red person detector. If somebody is present in the room, the cooling unit is switched on to achieve the selected thermostat temperature. When nobody is present the temperature is allowed to rise to an upper ceiling temperature.
