All-new mini VRF
Published:  29 May, 2008

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) is set to launch the new KX6 Compact to provide a cost-effective, energy-efficient VRF system for smaller installations. The new KX6 gives all the big system benefits of flexibility and control for smaller office, retail or apartment developments of 2-8 rooms.

MHI's new KX6 Compact outdoor unit is massively reduced in size from the outgoing KX4. Each of the 4, 5, and 6hp (12, 14, and 16 kW) outdoor units requires only one single side fan. They are available in single- or 3-phase, all with dimensions of just 970w x 370d x 845h mm.

There is a complete range of KX6 indoor units from cassettes to ceiling suspended, wall mounts and floor standing units. All look similar to the outgoing KX4 series but come with MHI's all-new Superlink II control logic, which allows control and management for the most complex multi-occupancy building with just 2-wire connections to the remote controllers.

The whole Mitsubishi Heavy Industries KX6 Compact solution allows far greater flexibility in installation than the previous system.
