Johnson Controls has launched the Digital Vision Network (DVN) 5000 Desktop Series designed to deliver high performance video and audio for a wide range of security applications.
The DVN 5000 can provide up to 480 images per second of real-time, combining support for analogue and Internet Protocol (IP) cameras, which allows for future growth without the need for additional hardware.
The product can operate as a stand-alone system or as part of a larger DVN 5000 enterprise system or with existing Johnson Controls software suites, such as RemoteControl, SiteManager and VisionPocket, or in conjunction with a P2000 Security Management System.
Features include:
- High quality recording - recording speed up to 480/400 IPS
- Built-in DVD-RW - save snapshots or video clips on removable DVD media for data portability
- True Pentaplex Functionality - real-time recording, playing, viewing, archiving and transmission regardless of image content or system activity
- True Client/Server Architecture - full remote control via Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) / Internet Protocol (IP). Server supports up to 16 simultaneous users.
