Searle's efficient coolers
Published:  30 January, 2008

With their energy efficient fansets, Searle's new KMe coolers reduce refrigeration power bills by 50%. This makes the versatile 5.8-28kW KMe range ideal for cost-saving applications in cold rooms, warehouses, agriculture and the food processing industry. The new standard 400mm, 1,400rpm fanset also saves space, so the KMe units' rugged powder coated galvanised steel cases are shallower than the KM series they replace.

Searle Commercial Director Richard Saunders says the KMe models build on the success of the proven KM range to bring additional benefits in a wide range of applications. "Energy efficiency is increasingly important in every field, and the potential energy savings of our new fansets, compared to traditional motor assemblies, have significant appeal for the refrigeration market".

The Eurovent certified KMe range consists of seven basic models with numerous options. All models are offered with 4mm, 6mm or 8mm fin spacing,  HCFC, glycol or CO2 refrigerants, single phase or three phase power, and a choice of electric or hot gas defrost systems. Axial fans can be fitted in place of the standard fansets where increased air throw is required.
