Fan convectors from Dunham Bush are now available with DC/EC motors for projects that want to maximise energy performance and where a slightly longer payback is acceptable to the client. This option is available with the company’s Avant Garde, AM, BM, CM, 600 Series and LST ranges, as an alternative to a conventional AC motor.
“DC/EC motors have been available on bespoke projects for some time but as cost of ownership becomes a stronger consideration over capital costs, we are responding to increasing demand and making them available as a standard option,” explained Dunham Bush Sales Manager Peter Faruqi. “In offering specifiers greater flexibility we are enabling them to meet the specific needs of each project,” he added.
For projects where energy efficiency is a key criterion the combination of DC/EC motors and Avant Garde fan convectors, which are optimised for use with condensing boilers, offers an ideal solution. However, the company’s competitively priced AC motor options also offer high efficiencies compared to other models on the market and provide an effective solution for projects working to very restricted budgets.
