Recover lost heat
Published:  22 August, 2007

Airflow has introduced Duplexvent a new range of compact, commercial unit ventilators with heat recovery. Duplexvent is designed for comfort ventilation and warm air heating of offices, schools, sports halls, small production and process areas, restaurants and many other commercial buildings.

Using innovative counterflow heat exchanger technology they have a high recovery efficiency of up to 80%.

Recent government research has indicated that a healthier indoor environment is conclusive to better public health and productivity in the workplace. Using innovative counterflow heat exchanger technology they have a high recovery efficiency of up to 80%.

In schools they suggest that better air quality in the classroom will help improved learning.

Crucially Duplexvent regains the otherwise lost heat from extracted air, filtering it and returning it into the building mixed with incoming fresh air which is both environmentally sensible, produces long term energy savings and improves the indoor climate.

Duplexvent is available in a range of performance sizes from 220 m3/hr to

12,000 m3/Hr to suit different building sizes with control options to regulate air flow as demand varies. Managing air change rates to match occupant levels helps counteract the lethargy induced by excessive CO2 levels.
