Mini-split heat pumps enter UK
Published:  19 July, 2007

Johnson Controls has announced its move into the UK domestic and light commercial market with the launch of a range of mini-split heat pumps, designed for ultimate reliability, easy installation and high efficiency.

The range of reverse-cycle air conditioners, which operate using the ozone-friendly refrigerant R410A, incorporates 19 products, from 2kW to 14kW, including:

Single room units – suitable for use in small to medium bedrooms, living rooms, offices and conservatories. Horizontal and vertical air-sweeps deliver consistent air and temperature distribution and ultra-quiet operation

Single room units with inverter technology – harnessing inverter technology means the desired temperature is reached faster and more consistently

Multi-room units with inverter technology – up to four indoor units can be connected to a single outdoor unit. The units are ideal for offices, shops, hotel rooms, gyms and bars

Cassette units – suitable for use in larger rooms, such as bars, hotels and conference centres. These units boast an internal micro pump that safely removes condensed water from the system

Convertible console units – suitable for use in large restaurants, bars, gyms and offices, offering top-of-the-range performance.
