Smith’s launches Caspian
Published:  19 July, 2007

Smith’s Environmental Products is launching the Caspian range of fan convectors in response to customer demand. As the leading supplier of domestic and light commercial fan-assisted hydronic heat emitters in the UK, Smith’s has designed and manufactured the new range to meet installers’ ever increasing demand for a higher output fan convector for use in the light commercial market.

Available in three models: 60, 90 and 120, the Caspian offers outputs from 3kW to 12kW, and connects and runs from an existing central heating system. The Caspian is incredibly durable and has been designed for a range of robust environments, such as church halls, hotels, leisure centres and showrooms. Offering tamperproof controls, access panel security locks and a pencil proof grille, the Caspian also performs well in environments where the possibility of interference is high, such as schools and colleges.

The Caspian from Smith’s also offers the facility to wire in a remote thermostat, increasing flexibility in terms of siting and control, as well as operating on lower temperature heating systems.
