New mini-Compacta
Published:  19 July, 2007

KSB has announced the arrival of its new mini-Compacta lifting unit, designed for a wide variety of applications.

Suitable for use with domestic water supply, sanitation and drainage, as well as in building services situations such as heating, air conditioning and ventilation, the mini-Compacta offers all the functions of a much larger unit, but with a minimum space requirement. KSB believes it to be the smallest lifting unit manufactured to EN12050-1 currently available on the market.

Described by KSB as being extremely reliable, mini-Compacta features a control unit which is able to detect cable rupture, short circuit and sensor failure. It also includes a mains independent, rechargeable battery packed alert facility.

Britta Frank, Building Services Market Sector Manager for KSB, said: “We’re very excited about this new product which has been designed to the highest technical standard and offers a flexible fluid lifting unit for the specifier.

“As well as being ideal for water and wastewater use, mini-Compacta can also be installed in many building services applications such as hotels, offices, airports and sports and leisure facilities.”
