New pocket guide
Published:  20 June, 2007

Daikin Airconditioning UK Ltd has launched the Pocket Guide to Air Conditioning, a handy sized reference tool to help installers and specifiers promote the benefits of air conditioning (heat pumps) to their customers.

Whether an end-user is considering upgrading their existing system or installing a new energy efficient one, the guide gives them an overview of air conditioning, the different solutions available and key considerations prior to installing a system in their building.

Opening with the very basics of air conditioning and its benefits, the Pocket Guide then goes on to discuss some of the key issues that will affect end-users in the selection process. This includes the whole life cost approach, information on Building Regulations, energy labelling and the Government’s Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme.

The guide also explains the different types of systems available and includes information on Daikin UK’s D1 Partner Network, a recognised group of highly skilled and independent companies that can play a vital role in helping end-users install and commission the right air conditioning for their premises.
