Built to withstand the rigours of outdoor location and to cool food processing plants, chemical plants and similar buildings the new range of AlfaBlue NH3 air cooled condensers are designed for tough refrigeration duties that, for maximum environmental protection, employ ammonia as the refrigerant.

Two different types of condenser are available; the BNM and BND. The BNM (mono) range encompasses models providing between 20 - 545 kW cooling capacity while the BND (dual) models provide between 110 to 1220 kW and, with dual connections, enable two completely independent heat exchangers to be connected.

The AlfaBlue NH3 range employs stainless steel tubes, to avoid corrosive attack of copper components by ammonia and combines these with a new fin pattern and surface corrugations designed to maximise heat transfer efficiency. The heat transfer surfaces are mounted on vibration damping mounts to limit the effects of stress caused by thermal expansion during operation or physical shocks during transportation.

The units are available with a choice of four fan diameters ranging from 630mm to 1000 mm in size.
