Friedland responds with smoke alarm
Published:  22 March, 2007

Friedland has extended the capability of its Response security range with the introduction of a wireless smoke alarm. The unit allows the user to monitor activations from their Friedland Response control panel and it will also work as a stand-alone alarm.

The product is made up of two components – the smoke alarm unit and a wireless alarm interface module that relays signals to the control panel.

The smoke alarm responds to all types of fire using the optical principle to detect smoke, and emits an 85dB(A)+ warning to alert occupants to any potential hazard. A low-battery indicator and test button allow the user to monitor the operational status of the system, which should be checked on a weekly basis.

Installation of the compact alarm interface module, which features tamper protection and a low-battery indicator, is both quick and simple. A two year guarantee comes as standard.
