Vimpex has launched the FlashDome LED beacon as part of its MT family of electronic sounders and sounder/beacons. The sleek low profile design has been modelled on the class-leading Banshee sounder and complements the EN54 Part 3 approved MT range which includes the FlashTone combined sounder/beacon.
The FlashDome, which features ultra-efficient LEDs and exceptionally low current consumption, is ideal for use in fire alarm systems which need to be upgraded or designed for conformity to DDA requirements. The unit is 100% compatible with the rest of the MT range and utilises the same shallow and deep bases and wide range of accessories.
The FlashDome is one of a growing number of products available from Vimpex that are used in DDA-compliant fire systems including Fire-Cryer multi-message voice sounders, StroBell combined bell/strobe and Easy AV smart strobe conversion for upgrading existing electronic sounders with an integral strobe.
