Henley selects Kinnarps
Published:  23 February, 2007

As part of a refurbishment of Henley Management College, administration offices and the conference centre have been equipped with furniture from Kinnarps UK. In office areas, a key requirement was to address the comfort of around 60 members of the operations team who were moving to open-plan space, having previously worked in cellular offices.

Here, Kinnarps’ series e-desking and storage was selected, along with full cable management, screening, visitor seating and soft seating.

“The emphasis for the office areas was to create a dynamic new working area with clean, clutter-free lines and optimisation of space,” explained Estates Manager Caroline Bowers. “Kinnarps worked closely with the rest of the design team to help us achieve this.”

In the College’s River House building, former office space was converted to conference/teaching space. Kinnarps’ Kite furniture was used to provide a very flexible arrangement that could be easily re-configured to suit different activities and layouts. At the same time, the furniture needed to be stylish while also complying with Health & Safety regulations.

“We selected Kinnarps for this project because of the quality of the furniture and its flexibility – as well as the company’s willingness to revise plans on an ongoing basis as our requirements were modified,” Caroline Bowers concluded.
