Honeywell Excel Web controls installed by Zalti Control Systems have transformed the HVAC system at the headquarters of the Vernon Building Society in Stockport into a building management system providing easy operation and superior HVAC control.
The Honeywell Excel Web controller connects to the society’s internal network, giving easy access to HVAC system information from any PC using standard web browsers.
Robin Minton of Zalti Control Systems explained: “We chose Honeywell Excel Web as it offers the latest web controller technology, with LONWORKS and BACnet interfaces, and could be connected easily and seamlessly with existing plant. We also installed 25 Honeywell Excel 10 fan coil controllers, which are ‘best in class’. Distributed I/O gave us the flexibility to pick up remote primary plant.
“The stand-alone control system that existed was fragmented, in poor condition and from various manufacturers. Now, the Society has a fully integrated building management system. Excel Web controllers can be installed in the Society’s remote offices and easily added to the local network, allowing head office to monitor and adjust branch settings remotely.”
