Polypipe launch Polypress
Published:  25 January, 2007

Polypipe Commercial Building Systems, part of the Polypipe Group, has announced the launch of its new Polypress system, the latest addition to its plumbing and heating range of products and systems. The new Polypress system has been specifically designed for potable hot and cold water plumbing and heating systems for use in commercial applications.

The system comprises a multi-layer composite cross-linked polyethylene/aluminium pipe which is lightweight in design meaning that the product is easy to install and operationally friendly across both applications. Due to the thin aluminium layer, it also fulfils all the requirements for dimensional stability in heating applications.

Adam Turk, Business Development Director at Polypipe Commercial Building Systems comments: “We are confident that the new Polypress system will provide contractors and installers with a viable cost-effective alternative to similar copper systems. The new Polypress system offers the equivalent performance of a copper pipe but offers greater flexibility and durability meaning more time and expense is spared for the end user.”
