Beat the vandals
Published:  22 November, 2006

The new Troja luminaire from Pracht has to be one of the best looking vandal resistant fluorescent luminaires on the market.

Available from Sill Lighting, the Troja has a pleasing curved low profile design and is built for maximum vandal resistance.

The main luminaire housing is made from extruded aluminium with diecast aluminium end caps. The diffuser is made from impact resistant polycarbonate having a smooth surface on the outside and internal ribbing on the inside for efficient light diffusion.

The Troja fluorescent luminaires are available in either T8 or T5 versions and there are several models in the range to accommodate 18W to 58W T8 and 14W to 35W T5 lamps in single or twin lamp format. They are also available in Class 1 or Class 2 protection ratings.

These vandal resistant luminaires are ideal for such applications as subways, access ways to platforms, waiting areas and in football stadiums.

The engineering quality of these Troja fittings is exceptional. Other vandal resistant features include concealed ceiling fixings, recessed cable channels for concealed and through wiring and the option of a Graffiti Protect System for the diffuser.
