Sylvania has launched a unique low-energy light kit, the Micro-Lynx Combo. There are four products in the range; all are mains voltage with an integrated electronic transformer, utilising a twist and lock feature for safe replacement of the lamp. The Micro-Lynx Combo kit includes either a recessed or surface fixture available in chrome or white finish, complete with a 6W colour 840 Micro-Lynx F fluorescent lamp.
The Micro-Lynx Combo is an extremely versatile luminaire. Micro-Lynx can be used under cabinets, under shelves, on stairways, under stairways. Micro-Lynx could also be beneficial in meeting the requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document Part LI, which recommends as reasonable provision a minimum number of locations in dwellings to be equipped with low energy fittings or lamp-holders.
Micro-Lynx F is a T2 compact fluorescent lamp, available in six colours. There are three white colours: 827, 830 and 840 and three popular colours red, green and blue. Micro Lynx F has a power rating of 6W with an average rated lifetime of 6,000 hours.
