Vaillant’s Applied Systems Division aims to infiltrate the heart of the UK commercial boiler market with the launch of its new ecoCRAFT range. There are six floor-standing models in the range, with outputs of 80kW, 120kW, 160kW, 200kW, 240kW and 280kW.
The new High Efficiency, modular condensing floor-standing boiler range, available from autumn 2006, complies with Part L2 of the Building Regulations for new and replacement installations, therefore contributing to the lowered running costs of a building.
All models in the range are 1091mm high and 695mm wide as standard; there are three case variants when it comes to depth: 80kW and 120kW measure 995mm; 160kW and 200kW, 1325mm and 240kW and 280kW, 1605mm.
All ecoCRAFT boilers feature multiple 40kW low NOx, high efficiency pre-mix burners, as well as independent fan units and burner CVI control. Additional features include an aluminium-based, anti-corrosive alloy heat exchanger and a 6bar rated working pressure heat exchanger.
Each 40kW module has an independent sensor and overheat facility, while flue size varies depending on the output: 80-160kW models have a 150mm flue, whereas 200-280kW have 200mm.
