A little help for Lossnay
Published:  28 July, 2005

Mitsubishi Electric has announced the launch of its new range of Lossnay air-to-air heat recovery units, which have all received ECA (Enhanced Capital Allowance) approval because of their advanced energy efficiency.

The nine models in the ceiling-concealed Lossnay RX4 range, which dramatically help indoor air quality, use a special core of ultra- hin film to achieve the best ever performance and increase moisture permeability whilst decreasing air leakage.

The heat recovery ventilators allow designers to supply fresh air with minimal energy consumption, whilst helping comply with Part L and the new air tightness of buildings regulations.

The special paper core allows an even greater transfer of heat energy between the incoming air and the stale, outgoing air. The 'energy'is transferred through the cross-flow,plate-fin structure of the specially created diaphragm to keep supply and exhaust air separate but maximise the efficient transfer of heat.

The RX4 range includes a built-in pre-heater control circuit with dedicated connectors to allow for the easy installation of winter low temperature pre-heaters and comes with the option of high efficiency filters that can be simply added or changed through the unit's main inspection opening.
