Combined strength for HVAC
Published:  02 June, 2005

Alfa Laval and Cetetherm have

joined forces. A merger which

will result in a more

comprehensive range of

products and solutions and is

intended to provide greater

penetration into the

refrigeration and HVAC sectors.

Alfa Laval and Cetetherm

products and systems are used

to heat and cool a wide range of

buildings. On the commercial

front, their equipment is used

for frozen and chilled food

preparation, storage and

display, and maintaining leisure

facilities, ranging from

swimming pools to ice rinks, at

the correct temperature.

Under the new arrangement,

Cetetherm will remain a product

brand name for heating

systems and auxiliary

equipment sold mainly to

contractors, installers and end

users, while the Alfa Laval

brand name will be used for

components for which

distributors, system builders

and industrial OEMs are the

main customers. Consequently,

there will be two separate sales

organisations within the unified

Alfa Laval structure.
