New stainless steel grease filter
Published:  02 June, 2005

Jasun Filtration is responding to customer demand by launching a stainless steel framed filter designed to match extraction canopies in commercial kitchens and food preparation establishments.

Available in brushed and mirror image options, the new grease filters are available in a range of sizes to fit most extraction canopies and flame guards. The primary focus of kitchen ventilation is the removal of heat, smoke, steam, and odours, which are considered contaminants. A hood is used to capture and contain the contaminant flow, which is cleaned by the filters then transported to the outdoors by the duct and fan system.

Jasun Filtration’s brushed and mirror baffle grease filters work by making the air change direction and velocity, which separates the grease from the air stream with the deposited grease running off into grease collection troughs. Constructed from rolled, heavy gauge stainless steel for optimum performance and lasting appearance, Jasun Filtrations’ new brushed and mirror baffle filters efficiently remove grease and heated vapours from the air.
