Compact range from Hamworthy
Published:  02 June, 2005

Hamworthy Heating has launched the Milborne 500 series of compact wall hung modular condensing boilers with modulating outputs from 15 to 50kW and 15 to 100kW.

The Milborne is suited to installations where high output, and high  efficiency solutions are required and is backed up by the exceptional environmental credentials of European Class 5 classification with ultra low emissions - at less than 20ppm (18-36mg/kWh).

The Milborne 500 series is available in two sizes: the 501 has a single 50kW Bi-metallic heat exchanger with copper inside and stainless steel outside, whilst the 502 model has two 50kW heat exchangers giving a total boiler capacity of 100kW in a single compact casing and it has a maximum working pressure of six bar. Its high efficiency design results in flue gas temperatures just 5°C above the water return temperature enabling the boiler to be installed using a 50mm diameter plastic flue system, simplifying installation and reducing costs. An additional advantage is the ability for the boiler to be room sealed, thus allowing the boiler to be conveniently located almost anywhere in a building.
