Get the circuit right with Hager
Published:  02 June, 2005

Hager has launched a new range of single and multi-pole MCBs, RCCBs and RCBOs with a design that makes circuit labelling more convenient and user friendly.

Electrical circuit identification can now be done on the front of the device with a paper strip clipped and protected by a label holder. Later in the year Hager plans to introduce labelling software where labels can be produced using either words or pictograms to give the finished enclosure and its devices an aesthetic and practical benefit for the end user and for future maintenance.

In addition the switch toggle on the new devices is wider and is colour coded according to its function. Dark grey toggles are used for devices with a magneto thermical function and light grey for those with a switch function.

The labelling on the new range also allows simpler identification for the electrician. Only information necessary for identification, installation and control are now marked on the front of the products, with other information now printed on the side of the devices.

The new range is fully compatible with Hager’s present devices.
