The R-410A Sky Air Super Inverter driven range of air conditioning systems has been extended by Daikin Europe N.V. with the addition of new 8HP and 10HP versions.
Designated RZQ200and RZQ250,the new heat pump systems are intended for use on larger commercial air conditioning projects.
Cooling capacities are 20 and 25kW respectively and heating capacities are 23 and 27kW.Full load COPs are 3.05 for both sizes with EERs of 3.11 and 3.01. Ambient temperature operating range is –5 to 46° CDB (cooling)and –15 to15° CWB (heating).
The systems feature the latest Daikin ‘G’ type reluctance DC scroll compressor,which has been updated by the integration of a new ‘high thrust’ mechanism minimising friction loss and refrigerant leakage. Scroll performance is also enhanced by improvement to the volute profile.
Maximum energy efficiency is generated,particularly in ‘mid’ to ‘low’ load settings,thereby reducing annual electricity consumption and costs.High power output to electrical input ratios are ensured by the compressor motor’s neodymium magnets,which generate far higher torque than can be obtained with normal ferrite types.
