Ability Projects Ltd is now marketing the German made Emco Therm range of trench heaters in the UK.Three models are initially available Emco K,KG and KEL the former for natural convection and the latter two for fan assisted convection.
Outputs vary from 209 to 436W/m(K types),383 to 881W/m(KG types)and 530 to 1800W/m (KEL types).
Trench heating is considered advantageous when user comfort is required in combination with economic running costs and minimum physical impact on the heated space.Emco Therm modular trench heaters meet these requirements by virtue of their low(106mm) height (and consequent architectural appeal),lack of cold outer surfaces and absence of cold air discharge.
Emco Therm trench heaters are ideal for use in reception areas to provide a heat barrier against open door draughts,offices,meeting rooms,restaurants and areas with floor to ceiling glazing.
Natural convection K types are housed in a 106mm high casing and utilise two,four or six pipe heat exchanger elements set in steel retainers.All units are supplied with either linear or roll down grilles and are available in lengths between 950 and 4840mm.
