Trox makes VAV installation easier
Published:  05 May, 2005

Trox has launched TVR-Easy,a volume flow controller for variable air volume(VAV)and constant air volume(CAV)systems, which saves the installer valuable working time and reduces costs from the planning stage right through to commissioning.

The controller is selected and ordered according to nominal size. After installation, the volume flow can be precisely programmed simply by adjusting potentiometers on the side of the unit.

A green LED light provides functional information – blinking when there is a problem with the system, and permanently on when the unit is set and operating correctly.

The unit is easily programmed so commissioning is dramatically accelerated, and changes in demand can be accommodated easily without the need for special adjustment instruments or software.

The unit is also significantly less expensive than its predecessor. The TVR-Easy’s casing air leakage flow rate complies with class A, BS EN 1751, and the range of working differential pressure is 20 to 1,000Pa.

Spigot connections on both ends of the TVR-Easy are designed for circular ducting to DW144,and the control damper closed blade leakage complies with BS EN 1751, class 3/4.A duct sealing lip seal option is available.
