As part of its continuous product development programme,MK Electric has launched Axim,an elegant,sleek aluminium trunking system for skirting and dado applications.Axim has been designed to combine the superior appearance of aluminium and the robust practicality of an all-metal system,with the outstanding quality and ease of installation generally associated with products from the MK range.
Pre-punched bases,compartment divider knockouts and bend radii simplify fixing and wiring,and Axim accepts all MK wiring accessories.It is particularly impressive however when used with the Edge range,to provide total physical and visual integration.
Fixing and levelling on the wall is simplified by the inclusion of 5.5 x 13mm slots punched at 300mm centres in the trunking base, allowing loose first fixing for positioning,before final installation.
Aluminium corners are fabricated from trunking profiles themselves, to provide a continuous installed aesthetic finish,uninterrupted by clip-on,or wrap around covers.A one-piece cover,in anodised satin aluminium and black,gives a clean finish and simplifies installation, with neat end caps to tidily finish runs of trunking.
