Variable speed from AquaTech
Published:  06 April, 2005

The versatile nature of the software configuration for the previous, industry recognised 2000plus controller, has been further developed and refined through AquaTech’s 15 years’ experience with variable speed/inverter drive pump applications to the launch of the new 5th generation 2020plus microprocessor.

The software is adaptive enough to be used with standalone inverter drives, panel mounted drives and the very latest integral inverter motor units giving the end user complete flexibility and preference for drive and pump manufacturer.

Being the central point of control not only for the inverter drives but also the working parameter settings and BMS interface may lead you to think that it could be vulnerable to power spikes, power interruptions or even software corruption: this is simply not the case. AquaTech have taken these potential problems in their stride, protecting the core system through the use of EEPROM microchips that retain memory, two stage filtering electrical system and auto reset, even to the extent of logging power interruption problems for future diagnostics.
