Even higher energy efficiency
Published:  06 April, 2005

Toshiba Air Conditioning has launched the Daiseikai 2 system, an extension to its award-winning R410A split system range with increased efficiencies and reduced power consumption.

When the first Daiseikai models with their integral ionisers and extra filtration were introduced to Europe they were an immediate success. In the UK, they have begun to open up the residential market and have found particular success in specialised small commercial applications such as dentists, vets and other medical installations.

The elegant Daiseikai 2 high wall incorporates a new flat face design fascia and has a new design remote controller to activate the ioniser and electronic filtration. It also has increased air flow distribution through the louver system. It is around five percent more efficient than previous Daiseikai models and is already more than 20 percent more efficient than nearest products in the split system category – themselves 40 percent more efficient than non-inverter models. It has powered filtration, which cleans air 10 times faster than similar products. It can clear even dense smoke within 25 minutes, eradicating most harmful bacteria and viruses along the way.
