LG launch universal unit
Published:  06 April, 2005

LG Air Conditioning is introducing its Universal range of outdoor units, with MPS and inverter technology.

There are two universal outdoor ranges, which can be used with three types of indoor units - Ceiling and floor, Ceiling Cassette, Ceiling Concealed Duct.

The LG Universal Variable speed Unit, and Universal Inverter Unit, due to the MPS technology, offers many features and benefits: high energy savings (less electricity bills), optimum air conditioning (LEV control), low noise and vibration, reliability and robust design.

LG has applied MPS technology for all of the Universal models to give better energy efficiency. Because of the use of small inverter or variable speed compressors and LEV (Linear Expansion Valve), Universal inverter has a wide operation range from 12-130 percent, thus achieving big energy savings. Additionally, it guarantees accurate refrigerant control, less noise and vibration.

The main features include easy installation, improvement of stock management, high efficiency and low noise by adopting MPS technology. In the installation, it has single piping connection and uses three types of LG developed pipe branches (2/3/4 branch). The branch has a unique ‘flexible pipe connectivity’ feature unlike other competitors where you have to take special care while installing branches.
