Take control of heaters
Published:  06 April, 2005

Having a high power electrical device operating beyond your control can certainly impact on your electricity bill and throw out any attempt at proactive ‘Energy Saving’.

However, the use of a run-back timer can put the control back into the hands of the bill payer.

As part of Adaptaflex’s Energy Saving campaign, electronic run-back timers are one of the products being promoted through Adaptaflex’s Super and Premier stockist throughout the UK and their use can help cut energy bills, significantly.

Use of Energy Saving Timers alleviates the problem of appliances, such as heaters or ventilation systems, being left on continuously when nobody is using the controlled area. They can provide significant energy savings, particularly when used to control 3kW electric heaters, and soon payback the initial cost of the timers.

The electronic run-back timer allows an appliance to be powered for a set period of time and via an easy-to-read LED display shows the user how much time is left.
