The new Impro IXP 121 proximity access control system from BPT Security Systems (UK) Ltd has been specifically designed for small installations with vehicular access, or multiple small sites that need to be controlled from one location.
The IXP 121 accommodates up to 10,000 sites/controllers all connected via a wide choice of communications protocols, each capable of controlling up to 2000 tag holders per site, through two doors, or a single door with full antipass back plus an additional third party reader or RF vehicular access control receiver. It can buffer 6,000 transactions, offers up to eight door mode patterns per door, up to eight pattern time slots per door mode pattern, up to 64 access groups per site and up to eight access patterns per access group. The system also allows the user the added advantage of being able to monitor vehicle access.
The versatile, easy-to-install product, is simple to operate and can connect to the central database via RS232, RS485, USB, PSTN or Ethernet. When using the networked option, a USB tag registration reader allows easy addition of both proximity and infrared tags, as well as operating as an RS485 to USB converter.
