Getting to grips with Gripple
Published:  07 February, 2005

CCL Veloduct have launched a new variation of the popular Gripple ductwork suspension system designed to boost the efficiency of operatives on site.

The M8 stud fixing, which is unique to the CCL Veloduct range, offers an extremely quick method for securing the Gripple hanger into any concrete structure. The ductwork installer has only to screw the stud end into a pre-supplied drop-in anchor and the Gripple is ready for action.

As well as supplying the commonlyused M8 size, CCL Veloduct can also supply studs threaded to M6 and both types are available in hollow core anchor form - for mounting hangers in hollow core ceiling slabs. Where required, studs can also be fixed to metal brackets with nuts, as part of a ready-for-site package.

The Gripple hanger system is a total solution for the suspension of fixed loads, including ductwork and other mechanical and electrical services. The system, which fully complies with DW144, can be installed at any angle and cuts installation times by as much as 80 percent.
