The UK’s first prefabricated condensing boiler plant, aimed at revolutionising the way condensing heating systems are designed and installed, has been launched by Potterton Commercial, in the form of the new Paraskid.
The skid mounted package contains all of the components needed for a simple, connect-up heating and hot water condensing boiler plant solution. At the heart of the Paraskid is the Potterton Commercial Paramount wall-hung, condensing boiler, whose 60kW and 80kW models are used in a modular format to give customers three output options of 120kW, 160kW and 240kW.
Designed to meet the demands of both new build and refurbishment projects, the Paraskid is also the first prefabricated boiler plant to offer both a heating solution and a heating and hot water solution. Constructed under ISO 9000 factory conditions, the Paraskid benefits from quick release boiler isolating valves and restraining frame, which allow the condensing package to be easily removed from the skid and facilitates simplified, speedy on-site installation.
The Part L compliant product also incorporates a state of the art self regulating pump system and integral bypass that reduces installation costs and allows the Paraskid to maximise the use of low system return temperatures.
