JS Humidifiers is launching a new, economical, mobile, evaporative humidifier for areas up to 1,050m3. The HumEvap Mobile, which is able to evaporate up to 48 litres of water in 24 hours, can be plumbed-in for convenience or filled manually. And at around 50 percent less capital cost than its nearest competitor, the HumEvap Mobile is a reliable and cost effective solution to in-room humidification.
Unlike in-room steam humidifiers, which boil water, the HumEvap Mobile works on the principal of evaporation and results in considerably lower running costs. At just 45W, typical electrical costs of under £5 each year can be expected with the HumEvap Mobile, compared with around £120 a year for a steam unit of similar capacity.
A large 34-litre capacity humidifier, the unit incorporates a rotating drum, which evaporates moisture through a filter medium. Available as either a manual-fill or auto-fill unit, the HumEvap Mobile comes with castors on both models for easy mobility.
Other advantages of the product include an anti-bacterial filter and a silver ion water steriliser stick, which is effective against more than 650 types of bacteria and viruses.
