Honeywell enhances CO2 Sensors
Published:  10 January, 2005

Honeywell has launched two compact,self-calibrating wall sensors for CO2 and dual CO2/temperature sensing.

The new C7110 series sensors are more cost-effective than Honeywell’s existing AQS series and can enhance the efficiency and versatility of building control systems, whilst improving user convenience.

However as their styling, physical dimensions and mountings are identical to Honeywell’s established T7460 and T7560 series of wall modules, aesthetic and physical compatibility is ensured.

The simpler of the two new C7110 models has a CO2 sensor, while the other has a combination of sensors for CO2 and space temperature monitoring. This second model features a setpoint adjustment dial of the Celsius Relative type (-5 to +5 °C),which can be easily replaced with a Celsius Absolute type (12 to 30°C).This advanced model also includes an occupancy bypass button and an occupancy LED.

The sensors, which can be mounted using a 60mm (2.36 inch)outlet box or directly on the wall, offer a CO2 sensing accuracy of ±100 ppm or 7% (whichever is greater),while temperature accuracy is within ± 3.30°C over the 15 to 30 °C range.
