Airedale International Air Conditioning has developed a range of
remote air cooled chillers with high EERs and cooling capacities
from 75 kW to 450 kW.
The Ultima RAC range comprises fifteen models all designed for
use with R407C. For applications outside the EU, units can be
supplied with R22.
Featuring tandem or trio scroll compressors on dual,
independent refrigeration circuits, the range employs scroll
compressors on units up to 450 kW, offering the flexibility of
multiple scroll technology as an option to single screw
compressors.
Electronic expansion valves are fitted as standard, allowing stable superheat control in varying operating conditions and enabling the system to take advantage of times when the operating load is below the design values, meaning annual energy consumption can be reduced by up to 25%.
The Ultima RAC is designed to meet the EER requirements of the Energy Technology List, so high efficiency, stainless steel plate evaporators, complete with insulation and pad heaters, are standard across the range.
Available in Standard, Quiet and Super Quiet variants to minimise noise pollution, the units can be matched to remote dry coolers or evaporative condensers, according to local preferences.
