The HVCA has appointed Neil Griffin to the new senior post of Head of Operations.

Mr Griffin, who joins the Association from the aerospace industry, brings to the role a wide range of experience as a company secretary, as well as in corporate development, property and supply chain management, pensions, insurance and customer liaison.

A business studies graduate with an MBA in strategy and procurement management, he is an associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and a member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. He also holds a fellowship in aerospace manufacturing management.

“I am delighted to welcome Neil Griffin to the professional staff of the Association,” commented HVCA Deputy Chief Executive Roderick Pettigrew.

“I am confident that the skills and expertise he has gained in a variety of positions with two large commercial organisations will allow him to bring a fresh approach to many of the Association’s procedures, activities and initiatives.”

Mr Griffin’s duties and responsibilities incorporate those previously undertaken by Tony Godby, the Association’s secretary since 1995, who retired at the end of last month.
