Luxo has provided the lighting for the new London showroom of fellow Scandinavians; office furniture solutions company Kinnarps (UK) Limited. Located in Covent Garden, the showroom has been designed to reflect a real business solution. The two storeys in Dryden Street are not just a showcase of Kinnarps products but more a working demonstration of an exciting workplace and the centrepiece of the facility is a striking, specially designed Luxo chandelier.
The new showroom demonstrates a combination of Scandinavian functional design and the appropriate lighting for the ideal holistic working environment – furniture, lighting, ergonomics and sustainability are all key features of the new space.

Centrally located, with good transport links, the showroom is divided into three distinct areas, the ground floor demonstrates executive, conference and touch-down workstations, in addition to a reception area with an open-plan kitchen for visitor’s refreshment. The lower ground has workstations and project space, combined with soft seating and storage, whilst the basement is being converted into a flexible space demonstrating lounge and bar furniture where seminars and events can be hosted.

John Savory, Managing Director of Luxo Lighting, commented: “We wanted a space that inspires and provokes a sense of solution building and clear thinking. I believe the Dryden Street space offers visitors the opportunity to get a feel for how a Kinnarps/Luxo solution can inspire a workforce and bring a refreshing, practical yet stylish interior to life.”
