KGN Pillinger is currently involved in an extensive MOD fire main upgrade project which will see the manufacture, supply and delivery of two bespoke fire booster units and a kiosk for an un-disclosed MOD location. The fire booster sets each incorporate one electric and one diesel pump on a common skid, along with a jockey pump and full controls.
The contract win comes after a detailed consulting period between KGN Pillinger and the design consultant, followed by negotiations with the appointed Mechanical & Electrical Contractor.
“This project showcases our ability to design, develop and manufacture a bespoke pumping system to a very specific specification” said Oliver Tite, Sales Manager for KGN Pillinger.
With recent investment in a state of the art rotary index laser cutter and press brake machine, KGN Pillinger was able to offer a complete in-house solution, from the core water pumping systems to the bespoke stainless steel frames and components. Delivery of the equipment is expected within the next few weeks and will be one of the biggest projects for the company this year.
