Smith’s Environmental Products, the leading supplier of domestic and light commercial fan convectors in the UK, is extending its Ecovector range of energy efficient fan convectors with the launch of two new models: the HL (high level) and the VE (vertical). Aimed at the domestic, social housing and light commercial markets, these models will boast all the features of the existing Ecovector, while simultaneously replacing Smith’s existing Sterling, Sentry and Sentinel models.
The Ecovector can already be fitted to existing heating systems and can be mixed on the same system with any natural convectors. As it can be easily switched over to work with renewable technologies, such as ground and air source heat pumps, the Ecovector proves to be an extremely efficient product, with recent research from BSRIA finding it 24% more efficient than a standard panel radiator.
The Ecovector HL is a wall-mounted fan convector designed for use in the home, office and range of non-domestic applications. Fitted unobtrusively above head height, it maximises wall space with a safe, high level heat source.Â
