Crabtree has added motion and passive infrared detectors to its existing range of electrical accessories and PIRs, thus providing electricians with the means to offer or add automation and energy savings to their installations.
The new range is extremely easy to install using simple plug-in connectors and includes ceiling, wall and corridor occupancy detectors and a state of the art PIR for other motion detection applications.
The unobtrusive flush mounted ceiling master motion sensor is capable of detecting occupancy in any room, allowing the convenience of automatic ON/OFF switching to any area that might have occasional use. Each sensor has a TIME ON control, adjustable from 30 seconds minimum to a maximum of 30 minutes.
The sensor will reset the time interval whenever movement is detected, so while there is movement from a heat source in the detecting area, the light will remain on. There is also a sliding scale Lux setting, allowing the sensors to be active in response to ambient lighting conditions, adjustable as required.
